Children’s Dental Center, and Big People, Too! is searching for a new associate. The practice is located in the Berryessa area of San Jose, CA. The practice provides all aspects of pediatric dentistry, as well as general and cosmetic dentistry.
The office is an evidence based practice focusing on issues of growth and development as well as providing needed restorative treatment in a caring anxiety free experience for the patient. The ideal candidate should have familiarity with restorative treatment planning including preventative measures, dental sealants, Oral hygiene, root canal therapy, partial pulpotomy, stainless steel crowns and crown and bridge, dental fillings, extractions, space maintenance, periodontal maintenance, cosmetic dentistry, and recognize a patients’ need for early orthodontic intervention.
The office provides various forms of sedation, including nitrous oxide, Oral Conscious sedation, and IV sedation. The new associate should be comfortable practicing in such an environment, and should be comfortable with pursuing a conscious sedation permit. We also provide General Anesthesia in the office, delivered by an MD or Dental anesthesiologist, who comes to our office on a case by case basis.

A graduate from an accredited GPR program is preferable. You should have a current California Dental License, DEA permit, BLS certificate, Professional Liability Insurance and an individual NPI number.
This position is available as four days per week. To start, Payment is per diem. Then you may increase your pay based on your production. The office offers participation in the ADA members' retirement program. The office will pay for qualified continuing education courses.
