Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals. The Dentist will perform a variety of dental procedures and ensure that patients receive the best possible treatment in a comfortable environment.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Perform general dentistry procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.
Administer anesthesia and manage patient comfort during procedures.
Carry out oral surgery as necessary, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to provide optimal patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.
Qualifications
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
Experience in general dentistry; proficiency in prosthodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
Familiarity with medical documentation practices and electronic health record systems is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and communication.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety within the clinic.
