OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting our dental professionals in various procedures. Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient information using Epic or similar software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment.
Utilize 3D scanners for imaging when required, particularly in pediatric dentistry settings.
Support pediatric patients with a compassionate approach to ensure their comfort during visits.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology and infection control practices is essential.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus, especially when working with younger patients.
Proficiency in using dental software for managing medical records is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is preferred but not mandatory.
