Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. The Dental Assistant will work closely with dentists and other staff members to deliver exceptional service to our patients.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and maintain the dental operatory, ensuring all instruments are sterilized and ready for use.
Perform patient intake, including taking medical histories and documenting relevant information.
Utilize dental terminology effectively when communicating with patients and staff.
Support general dentistry procedures as well as specialized treatments in prosthodontics.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging and assist in creating dental impressions.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.

ExperienceThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

Experience in assisting within a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices is essential.
Familiarity with general dentistry procedures as well as prosthodontics is a plus.
Proficiency in using 3D scanners or willingness to learn new technologies.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate medical documentation.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
