Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our dental practice. As an Associate Dentist, you will provide quality dental care to our patients and assist in maintaining their oral health. Duties:- Perform dental examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and develop treatment plans- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals- Provide preventive dental care including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and excellent patient experience- Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic dental records (Dentrix) and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations- Take vital signs and record patient information accurately- Assist in medical coding for insurance billing purposes- Utilize knowledge of dental office systems to manage patient appointments and maintain organized records
Experience:- Previous experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting preferred- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge- Strong infection control practices to ensure patient safety
Skills:- Excellent clinical skills in performing dental procedures with precision and efficiency- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages- Ability to educate patients on oral health practices in a clear and understandable manner- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage patient records accurately
