Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education and the ability to perform a variety of dental procedures in a professional and efficient manner.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Diagnose and treat dental issues, including cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
Perform various dental procedures such as root canal therapy, oral surgery, and preventive care.
Fabricate dental appliances and prosthetics as needed.
Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Skills
Proficient in medical documentation practices relevant to dental care.
Experience working in a dental office environment with knowledge of clinic operations.
Familiarity with dental fabrication techniques for creating crowns, bridges, and dentures.
Ability to work with pediatric patients effectively and compassionately.
Skilled in performing root canal therapy with precision and care.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile working environment.
Experience in oral surgery procedures as required by patient needs.
Strong understanding of human anatomy related to dental health.
Proficient in using dental software such as Eaglesoft for patient management.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and staff.
