Job Description

We are looking for a mature, awesome and energetic, long term, team member who will make the dentist’s office more efficient, happy and pleasant for patients and staff. Dental/Medical assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. We want you to be able to assist in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to assist in helping as a team member, in helping office procedures to go as smooth as possible. We are willing to train. The position is full time, Monday -Friday. Paid holidays, paid vacation, sick leave, and bonuses. Healthcare reimbursement up to $200 monthly after probationary period review.
Responsibilities

Welcome patients in the dental office
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort and taking vitals
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Chair side assisting with doctor involving periodontal, restorative and surgical procedures
Ability to learn and take digital dental x-rays
Sterilize instruments and patient room according to regulations
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies
Assist with other duties as needed for general team operation of office
An awesome qualified individual will be a positive caring team player with great patient care and ability to learn new procedures

Skills

1 year experience as dental/medical assistant (preferred), but we are willing to train the best individual
Ability to conduct sterilization procedures
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Ability to learn and perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
Good computer skills with ability to learn
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma (required)
X-ray certification (preferred)
