Dental Assistant - Modern Dentistry & Cosmetics - Joplin, MO

Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Take and record patients' medical and dental histories- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment- Take dental x-rays- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as taking impressions of patients' teeth
Skills:- Experience in assisting with dental procedures- Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting- Experience using Eaglesoft- Knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dentistry- Ability to take accurate vital signs
