Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician and a Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and sterile environment within our dental practice. This position requires knowledge of aseptic techniques and the ability to manage medical documentation effectively. The Sterilization Technician will work closely with dental professionals to ensure that all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use.
Responsibilities

Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment using appropriate methods and procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation related to sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Assist in the organization and inventory management of dental supplies.
Collaborate with dental staff, general/surgery dentistry teams, to support patient care.
Utilize knowledge of dental terminology to communicate effectively with the team.
Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices in sterilization techniques.

Experience

Previous experience as a Sterilization Technician / Dental assisting or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques, dental assisting, and relevant systems is highly desirable.
Knowledge general/surgery dentistry practices.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
