Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental practitioners. This position involves assisting in various dental procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring that all patient records are accurately documented. A strong background in dental assisting is preferred, along with knowledge of endodontics and general dentistry practices.
Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring optimal patient comfort and care.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and manage patient records using Dentrix or Epic software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide high-quality care and improve patient experiences.

Requirements

Proven experience in dental assisting, with a strong understanding of anatomy knowledge.
Familiarity with endodontics, general dentistry practices, and infection control standards.
Proficient in using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic for managing medical records.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
Certification in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
