Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and addressing their dental needs. This role requires a strong foundation in general dentistry practices, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including children. The Dentist will utilize their expertise in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and preventive care.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose dental conditions accurately.
Maintain accurate medical records for all patients using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license and board certification.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy related to dental practices.
Experience with dental extractions and general dentistry procedures is preferred.
Familiarity with pediatrics is a plus for those working with younger patients.
Proficiency in using medical records systems; experience with Epic is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
