Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a friendly, fun, hard working team member/ Dental Assistant to join our small private dental practice, not DSO. Hours are Monday through Wednesday 8-5, Thursday 8-3, off Fridays. Pay will depend on experience and skill.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety. Must be willing to help front desk if needed (all insurance is out of the office).
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including Endodontics.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
Take and develop X-Ray images as required for diagnosis.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation, ensuring all medical terminology is correctly applied.
Utilize Eagkeaoft for patient management and scheduling.
Operate 3D scanners for advanced imaging when necessary.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Ensure the dental office environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Be willing to help answers phones or anywhere in office as needed.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn But must know how to take x-rays.
Proficiency in using dental software.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety practices within a dental setting is essential.
Experience with X-Ray technology and 3D scanning equipment

Chairside assisting
Radiation Health & Safety Certification
Coronal polishing certificate
EDDA Certification (optional)
X-Ray Certification (mandatory)
Radiology Certification (mandatory)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 â 32 per week
