Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care in a dental clinic setting. Accepting applications from CDAs, DAs, CSTs, CMAs, or other relevant clinical fields as on the job training is offered as an option.
Our assistants work at our Owensboro, KY location but are also required to commute to our Evansville, IN location one day a week.

Duties- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment- Take and record vital signs of patients- Perform four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently- Manage patient flow to ensure efficient workflow- Maintain accurate patient records using DSN or similar software- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist in various dental procedures- Educate patients on proper oral healthcare including post-op instructions
Qualifications- Certification or Associate Degree in Dental Assisting preferred, but not required- Proficiency in dental terminology and procedures preferred- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols- Experience with dental or medical EMR or similar electronic health record systems is a plus- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Surgical Tech, or Dental Receptionist is advantageous
