Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This position involves assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow within the clinic. Duties
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis.
Record and maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit.
Monitor vital signs of patients before, during, and after procedures.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry and endodontics as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized patient flow within the clinic.
Skills
Proficiency in assisting with dental procedures in a clinical setting.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring techniques.
Experience with medical imaging processes relevant to dentistry.
Understanding of general dentistry principles and practices.
Ability to handle medical documentation accurately, including coding when necessary.
Experience or interest in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
