Registered Dental Hygienist - Branchburg Smiles - Branchburg, NJ

We are urgently looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our established PPO/FFS dental office in Branchburg NJ.

```Duties```
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and vital signs measurement
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures as needed
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a safe and clean environment
- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in the dental office software (Dentrix)
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
```Skills```
- Proficient in infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment
- Experience in dental assisting, including chairside assistance and instrument sterilization
- Familiarity with Dentrix/Open Dental office software for scheduling and documentation
- Strong patient assessment skills to identify oral health issues and recommend appropriate treatments
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Ability to operate medical imaging equipment for capturing dental radiographs
- Competence in taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Understanding of medical documentation practices to maintain accurate patient records
