Summary
As a Dental Assistant at Kids Dental, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental team and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This position is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our young patients and assisting in various dental procedures. Must be willing to cross train, some office duties is expected.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before and after use.
Take X-rays and maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices.
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain an organized front desk area.
Utilize dental software systems, such as Dentrix Ascend, for patient management.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Familiarity with X-ray technology.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and their parents.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
