Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of patient records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including pediatric dentistry when necessary.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and infection control protocols.
Maintain knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental health and treatment.
Provide compassionate patient care, addressing any concerns or questions during appointments.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health, infection control measures, and dental terminology is essential.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
Ability to manage medical records efficiently while adhering to privacy regulations.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
