Dental Assistant (1 year exp) - Santarelli, Feller & Ryan Dental Group - Springfield, IL

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and patient care.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work and ensure their comfort
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Take X-rays or dental impressions
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with medical documentation
**Experience:**
- Prior experience in assisting with dental procedures
- Knowledge of dental terminology and medical coding
- Familiarity with prosthodontics and general dentistry practices
- Understanding of anatomy related to oral health
- Proficiency in X-Ray procedures
- Ability to work with electronic systems for record keeping
