Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our Fun dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic while providing exceptional support to our dental team and care to our patients. This position requires an understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Hours: Mondays & Wednesdays 7:30-5; Thursdays 6:30- 2pm
Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and materials in accordance with aseptic techniques.
Perform X-rays and ensure proper documentation of medical and dental records.
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and following up on visits.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.
Support pediatric dentistry by providing compassionate care to young patients.
Utilize 3D scanning technology for impressions as needed.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills or experience:
Proficiency in dental documentation and familiarity with dental terminology.
Knowledge of dental terminology, particularly in areas such as prosthodontics and pediatric dentistry.
Experience with X-ray procedures and equipment.
Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
Familiarity with 3D scanning systems is a plus.
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
