Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced (CDA or prior chairside dental assisting experience required) Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and efficient operation within our dental clinic. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills, including assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient records, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient histories, including updating information as needed.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Manage infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
Utilize medical imaging equipment as required for diagnostic purposes.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, oral hygiene instructions, and follow-up care.

Skills

Proficiency in medical records management to ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
Experience as a dental receptionist is advantageous for managing front-office tasks.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology to assist effectively in clinical settings.
Familiarity with infection control systems to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Competence in assisting with various dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Ability to perform basic medical imaging tasks as part of the diagnostic process.
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members effectively.
