OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic and patient centric dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
Maintain accurate dental documentation and patient records using systems such as Open Dental.
Perform infection control procedures in accordance with established protocols.
Provide support in cosmetics, prosthodontics, endodontics, and Invisalign as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up for patients.
Assist with dental coding and documentation to ensure accurate billing.

Experience

3+ years dental assisting experience required.
Familiarity with infection control standards and practices in a dental setting.
Experience with medical and dental documentation, including maintaining medical records.
Knowledge of cosmetics, prosthodontics, endodontics, implants, and Invisalign is a plus.
Proficiency in using dental software systems; experience with Open Dental is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
