Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during various procedures, including endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix or similar systems.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Assist with medical coding and documentation as required.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology and dental procedures is essential.
Knowledge of systems such as Eaglesoft is advantageous.
Experience with four-handed dentistry techniques is a plus.
A background in medical coding or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory.
