Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care.
Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and sterilized.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using Eaglesoft or similar software.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, billing, and insurance verification.
Support various dental specialties including Endodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Prosthodontics, and General Dentistry as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dental practice.

Skills

Proficiency in Dental Assisting techniques and practices.
Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medical Coding is advantageous.
Familiarity with anatomy knowledge relevant to dentistry.
Experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental management software.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
