Dental Assistant - Lazenby Dental - Destin, FL

Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental X-rays- Perform basic laboratory procedures, such as pouring and trimming models- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed
Skills:- Proficiency in dental software systems, such as Open Dental or similar- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and basic medical coding- Experience in dental assisting, including chairside assisting and CAD/CAM technology (CAD)- Ability to take accurate dental X-rays and maintain radiation safety standards
