Rotating Saturdays a must, 7:45-1pm (One or two a month) We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our high-end, non corporate, family dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during treatments, manage patient records, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Inoffice Zoom! whitening
3d printing of models, fabricating bleach trays, retainers and soft night guards
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive measures
Qualifications
RHS and ICE certified required
Knowledge of infection control practices and HIPAA compliance is essential.
Dentrix software experience
Front desk experience a plus but not required
Experience with pediatric dentistry a plus
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant coursework is advantageous but not mandatory.
