Tarpon Shores Dental in Sarasota is currently seeking a full-time dental assistant. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of dental assistant experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clean and prepare operatory rooms.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies and equipment.
Assist with hygiene, as needed.
Taking dental radiographs (if licensed).
Taking patient medical history, blood pressure and pulses.
Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocols and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment.
Entering patient information into charting system.
Handling reception/seating/and dismissal of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1-3 years of dental experience preferred or new graduate.
A passion for the dental industry.
A passion for helping others.
