Dentist - Whiteside County Health Department - Rock Falls, IL

Whiteside County Community Health Clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate dentist to join our multi doctor team! This position will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all economic levels and cultural backgrounds in a safe and comfortable environment. You will perform a range of procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions and more, while prioritizing oral health education and patient comfort.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient examinations and diagnoses.
Perform routine dental procedures such as fillings and extractions.
Offer treatment plans and discuss options with patients in a clear manner.
Manage complex cases including root canals and crowns.
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with dental regulations.
Collaborate effectively with dental hygienists and assistants.

Professional Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build patient rapport.
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
Skilled in handling difficult or confrontational situations in a calm, consistent and problem-solving manner.
Ability to provide education to patients, staff and/or students as the need arises.
Ability to work within a team setting and be able to relate to the special needs of our patient population.
Ability to provide health care in a sensitive, nonjudgmental manner to persons of all economic levels and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications:

DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
Current and active dental license in Illinois
Proven experience in general and pediatric dentistry, preferred

Pay: $155,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
