Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Monitor and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.

ExperienceCandidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:

Proficiency in dental assisting with hands-on experience in a clinical setting.
Familiarity with endodontics and other specialized dental procedures is preferred.
Strong understanding of anatomy related to dental health.
Experience managing medical records while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, particularly children, in a friendly manner.
Knowledge of vital signs monitoring techniques.
