Someone to join our growing team in one of the largest solely owned Dental practices in Northern California/Sacramento. This person would be a part of growing, protecting and embracing our culture and contribute to their team by leading through example and holding themselves personally accountable.
As clinical Assistants in our office, dental assistants play an important role in developing relationships with customers, creating and maintaining a clinical environment in which they work with our doctors to provide an outstanding and unique customer experience. The main goal in the first year is to improve clinical efficiency and customer experience through over-delivery of expert services and customer relationships, and increase delivered services by 10%.
Dental office experience or aptitude for dental terminology preferred. Dental X-ray license and infection control certificate required. Dental Assistants are responsible for assisting the dentist in the clinical treatment of patients. This includes, preparing patients, sterilize and disinfect instruments, set instrument trays, preparing materials, and assist dentist during dental procedures. Expose dental X-rays, record treatment information in patient records, provide post operative instructions prescribed by dentists. Assist dentist in management of medical and dental emergencies. Pour, trim, and polish study casts. Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs. Ability to multitask, prioritize, ask for help when needed, An ideal candidate would be a self-starter, take initiative, follow direction, communicate well and be able to handle tedious work and fast pace environment.
