Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Marina Del Rey, CA
```Duties```- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures- Take and develop dental x-rays- Perform dental charting and recordkeeping- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and instruments- Assist with dental lab tasks as needed
```Requirements```- Completion of an accredited dental assistant program- X-ray certification- Knowledge of medical imaging, medical coding, and patient assessment- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (Epic, Dentrix, CAD)- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy guidelines- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
