Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dental professionals in delivering exceptional services. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment.
Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
Take and develop medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Utilize 3D scanners for accurate impressions and restorations.
Provide support in prosthodontics procedures, ensuring patient comfort and understanding of the process.
Engage with pediatric patients, making them feel comfortable during their visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Proficiency in using medical imaging technology and software such as Epic is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is a plus.
