We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a passion for working with people.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain examination and dental operatory areas, ensuring they are clean, organized, and properly stocked with necessary supplies.
Assist the dentist during procedures by suctioning, holding instruments, and performing other related tasks to ensure efficient patient care.
Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed.
Review and update patient medical histories and records accurately.
Educate patients and their parents on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow in the office, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
Communicate effectively with children and their guardians to alleviate fears and promote a positive dental experience.
Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
Adhere to all dental protocols and guidelines, including infection control and sterilization procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Dental Assistant certification (preferred) or pursuing certification.
Previous experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
Proficiency with dental software and technology.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with children.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
