**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge in various dental procedures and be able to provide excellent patient care. Dentrix experience preferred.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Maintain accurate patient records
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or completion of a dental assistant program
- Knowledge of Dentrix software for dental documentation is preferred
- Familiarity with dental coding and terminology
- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently
- Understanding of general dentistry procedures and practices
- Strong anatomy knowledge related to dental procedures
- Previous work in a dental clinic setting is advantageous
