Dental Hygienist - The Family Dentistry Group - Gloversville, NY

We are looking for a full-time (32-35 hrs week) Dental Hygienists to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. Hygienists in our practice make a significant impact in the dental field and work in an environment where their expertise is valued. We utilize the latest diagnostic technology in the dentistry to help educate our patients.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and perio treatments for patients of all ages
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Utilize dental software for patient records management.
Document patient care and treatment accurately
Maintain a safe and clean working environment and treatment room.
Stay updated on knowledge relevant to dental hygiene practices.
Collaborate with dentist on patient treatment and education
Utilize technology for patient care; iTero, lasers, Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Requirements

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of NY
Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with medical terminology.
Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while maintaining professionalism.
Familiarity with dental software systems and taking radiographs
