Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Perform medical imaging procedures, including X-rays, and maintain accurate medical documentation.
Utilize infection control protocols to maintain a clean and sterile environment.
Operate dental equipment, including 3D scanners, to assist in diagnostics and treatment planning.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry, endodontics, and other relevant areas.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant.
Knowledge of Cerec.
Knowledge of Dentrix.
Strong understanding of general dentistry practices, anatomy knowledge, and infection control standards.
Proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures, including endodontics and oral surgery.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
