Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during procedures by providing chairside support and managing instruments.
Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and dental protocols.
Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Take X-rays, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Document patient information accurately in EMR systems and manage medical records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Support pediatric dentistry practices as needed, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.

Qualifications

Proficient in chairside assisting and dental terminology
Knowledgeable in general dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics
Familiarity with 3D scanning and aseptic techniques
Experience with EMR systems, particularly Eaglesoft and Dentrix
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and pediatric dentistry
Ability to perform X-ray procedures and manage vital signs
Strong background in medical documentation and coding

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $32.00 per hour
