OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare services to patients.
Duties- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
-Coronal polish (will be trained and certified)- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills- Proficiency in medical terminology- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Ability to perform aseptic techniques effectively- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures- Experience in dental assisting, including the use of Dentrix software- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices- Understanding of anatomy for dental procedures- Familiarity with 3D scanning technology- Competence in medical documentation practices
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
