Associate General Dentist - VM DENTAL - Chino Hills, CA

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and terminology. This role requires proficiency in various dental specialties, including prosthodontics, root canal therapy, and dental extractions. The Dentist will work closely with a team of dental professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including but not limited to root canal therapy, dental extractions, and prosthodontics.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options and care plans.
Ensure the proper use of dental terminology in all patient interactions and documentation.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide exceptional patient care.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Epic and Eaglesoft is preferred.
Strong knowledge of medical documentation practices and patient care standards.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage medical records effectively.
Previous experience in a clinical setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
