Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8:00 - 5:00. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with both pediatric and general dentistry patients in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize medical imaging technology to capture diagnostic images as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with clinic protocols.
Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Assist in the management of patient care within the dental office setting, including scheduling appointments and follow-ups.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental clinic or office is preferred, with familiarity in both pediatric dentistry and general dentistry practices.
Proficiency in using Curve Hero or similar dental software systems is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and infection control standards is essential.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
