Registered Dental Hygienist - Prime Dental Care - South Jordan, UT

The ideal candidate will enjoy working with teams, be willing to assist other team members when able, take pride in providing quality dental care, be able to educate patients on the importance of proper oral hygiene habits and treatment measures.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with procedures under the supervision of the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with medical coding and HIPAA regulations
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Provide support to dentists in various tasks as needed
**Requirements:**
- Certified Dental Hygienist
- Proficiency in medical coding and maintaining medical records
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Experience in general dentistry and dental clinic operations
- Familiarity with dental terminology and systems
- Strong anatomy knowledge
- Previous experience in dental assisting is a plus
