Duties

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following aseptic techniques.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups to ensure continuity of care.
Support patients with a friendly demeanor to create a comfortable environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and clinic efficiency.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices.
Proficient in medical documentation and understanding of HIPAA regulations.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Experience with 3D scanning technology is a plus but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
X-ray Certification
