The ideal candidate will help the dentist during treatment procedures by maintaining excellent patient care. In addition, the candidate must be able to assist with some front desk duties.
Duties:- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures- Take and record patients' medical histories and vital signs- Provide post-operative instructions as directed by the dentist- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
- Answering phone calls and scheduling patients
Experience:- Prior experience in a dental office setting preferred- Experience with 3D scanners for dental imaging
- Experience with iTero scanners for dental imaging- Ability to handle medical documentation accurately- Knowledge of General dentistry practices- Competency in taking vital signs- Experience working with Eaglesoft software is a plus- Understanding of general dentistry procedures- Knowledge with sterilization techniques for infection control
- Proficiency in infection control practices
- Understanding on schedule and insurance is a plus
