Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Yelm, WA
We are a private practice office with one doctor looking to add a full-time dental hygienist.
Hyg appts are for 1 hour; we use Dentrix/Dexis and are chart-free.
We work 4 days a week 7am - 4pm in spring/summer; 8-5pm in winter.
Mon-Thurs one week/ Tues-Fri the following week. Every other weekend is a 4-day weekend.
No late evenings or weekends.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive patient care by performing dental cleanings and assessments.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in the management of dental office operations using Dentrix software.
Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene and pediatric dentistry practices.
Utilize Dentrix for documentation and scheduling.
Maintain aseptic techniques and uphold high standards of patient care.
Qualifications
Valid Washington State Registered Dental Hygienist license
Proficient in patient care
Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records
Experience with Dentrix software
Knowledge of aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations
Ability to perform patient assessments and document findings
