Job Title: Dental Hygienist
Overview:We are a fun group looking for a new team member to join the crew. Privately owned by Dr Hung, he believes in an open door policy and that excellent patient care, plus great communication among staff is a recipe for a happy work environment. Nia at the front desk has been an Assistant then EFDA for over 12 years, Abby our other front desk is so sweet and being trained to help with sterilization/PC. Maria has been assisting for over 10years, and Erin our other assistant is still learning but amazing! We like our group to be cross trained to help whenever needed, and there isn't a divide between front and back staff. John, is our amazing part time HYG here, he is so laid back and always lending a helping hand, we just need one more HYG to fill out the team!
Responsibilities:- Perform dental cleanings and assist with procedures using - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized care instructions- Maintain patient records accurately using or similar systems- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring a smooth workflow- Utilize software for treatment planning and documentation- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality care in and - Support patients in understanding dental terminology and treatment options- Provide chairside assistance when needed, showcasing proficiency in
Qualifications:- Valid Dental Hygienist license- Proficiency in and knowledge of dental procedures- Familiarity with and infection control protocols- Experience working with software is a plus- Strong communication skills and the ability to educate patients effectively- Prior experience in or settings is preferred
