Dental Hygienist - Wonder Family Dental & Dentures - Poulsbo, WA

Our small private dental practice is seeking a skilled and personable dental hygienist to join our team. Our one and only dental hygienist will be moving out of state in the beginning of July.
About Our Practice:

Regular use of silver diamine fluoride and topical fluoride varnish
Small amount of children under 18 with average patient age of 60
Phosphor plate x-rays with a choice of handheld or wall-mount x-ray machine
CBCT machine
Intraoral camera and digital scanner
Newer dental chair and equipment
Funny, easy-going, understanding, helpful, and friendly team members

Job Responsibilities

Perform professional dental cleanings and treatments
Take and develop dental x-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventative measures
Assist with scheduling and maintaining patient records
Occasional administrative tasks such as follow up phone calls to patients after a difficult procedure and managing the schedule during down time
Team up with the dentist to give the best treatment plan for patients according to their needs

Qualifications

Current WA dental hygienist license
Proficiency in dental software and technology - we use Open Dental
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Commitment to patient care and satisfaction
