Dental Hygienist - River City Dentistry - Henrico, VA

Job Summary
Old Dominion Family Dental is a well established, private practice located in Henrico, Virginia, looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist. Our ideal candidate will be a team player who will play a critical role in providing excellent patient care and patient experience during routine dental cleanings. The position being offered can be part time or full time and can be discussed further with applicants.
Responsibilities

Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, documenting medical changes, and completing oral cancer screenings.
Perform routine cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth.
Focus on patient education by teaching patients proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for staff and patients by following infection control procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using Patterson Fuse and other office systems.
Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Experience

Previous experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist is preferred, however, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Experience working with patients of all ages is a plus.
Ability to maintain attention to detail.
An attitude of teamwork is essential to the success of this position.

Pay: $51.98 - $55.00 per hour
