Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental services, ensuring patient comfort, and assisting in the overall operation of the dental clinic.
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical history.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture accurate dental radiographs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of dental conditions under the supervision of the dentist.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical coding and documentation in Eaglesoft or similar software.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and improve clinic operations.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in general dentistry practices and procedures.
Familiarity with medical terminology and coding is preferred.
Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
Ability to perform patient assessments accurately and efficiently.
Knowledge of vital signs measurement techniques.
Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
