We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team!

Our current hygienist has been with us for the previous 10 years. Due to marriage and a move- we need the right person(s) to join our team!
Our prior two hygienists were with us for 10 years and 4 years. I think this is important for you to know that you will have a stable career. We value our team members.
You will have the opportunity to practice and make a difference in your patients lives. We are looking for a hygienist to be a partner with the dentist. In our office we will value you and give you the opportunity to make a difference for your patients. We have great systems in place for you to succeed.
Currently we have hygiene scheduled for 6+ months. You will have an immediate opportunity to treat patients with a stable full schedule. We have a wonderful front office that you will enjoy working with. You will be a part of the team with management decisions. You will have an assistant. We will value your input and provide an atmosphere where you can practice the way you want.
My goal is that you will feel that this is your practice and your patients.
The weekly schedule is booked as follows
Office is open for patient care
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8am -5pm (Lunch 1-2pm)
Friday 8am-2pm
Closed on Wednesday
Currently the hygiene schedule is as follows.
Monday- single column one hour appointments
Tuesday and Thursday- Double column one hour appointments that are staggered
Friday (8-2pm) single column one hour appointments.
For the past 6 months we have had one hygienist covering the weekly schedule. We are open to part time and full time inquiries. Wage will depend on experience.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments and dental cleanings while adhering to aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Manage patient care effectively.
Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record-keeping.
Collaborate with the dentist to ensure comprehensive patient care and treatment planning.

Qualifications

Valid Registered Dental Hygienist license
Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical records
Experience with aseptic techniques and patient assessment
Familiarity with Dentrix a plus
Commitment to HIPAA compliance and documentation review

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $42.00 - $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
