Pay range 35- 40 per hour

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. Work with community dental teams to provide dental hygiene services in a community setting using portable dental equipment. The dental hygienist is a key member of the mobile team as a provider of services. When events are scheduled, the primary daily responsibility will be provision of preventive dental services. There will also be even preparation support tasks. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients about proper dental hygiene practices. Duties
Clinical Dental Hygienist to provide direct patient care, oral health education and promotion
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations on patients, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
Assess patient oral health by reviewing medical history, taking vital signs, and conducting periodontal assessments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Document patient treatments and maintain accurate records in compliance with dental office protocols.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow within the clinic.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology and general dentistry practices is essential.
Knowledge of medical coding is a plus.
Strong understanding of anatomy related to oral health.
Ability to assist effectively during various dental procedures.
