OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Review and document patient medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist the dentist during procedures, providing support as needed.
Take and record vital signs as part of the patient assessment process.
Utilize Opendental software for accurate documentation and patient management.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Stay current with dental terminology and best practices to enhance patient care.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with dental office operations is advantageous.
Knowledge of infection control procedures and ability to implement them effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact with patients and team members professionally.
Ability to understand dental terminology in practice.
